Photo Rejuvenation combats skin damage and aging by delivering a series of light pulses to the skin through a special hand-piece. This intense light passes through special filters. The targeted skin absorbs the light energy, which stimulates the production of collagen. Treatments only take between 15 to 30 minutes at the doctor's office, depending on the amount of areas that need to be treated. To achieve optimal results, a series of five to eight treatments is recommended depending on the severity of the area. Unlike many other rejuvenation skin treatments, Photo Rejuvenation requires absolutely no down time. Side effects are minimal - some patients may experience mild flushing, redness or bruising. This is temporary, and soon disappears.
