Juvederm

Juvederm™ is an injectable dermal gel filler used to correct facial folds and wrinkles. It is composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found in the body, and is safe and effective in patients of all skin types. Juvederm™ is injected into the folds and wrinkles of the patient to create volume and fullness, and also to improve the moisture content of the skin.

Juvederm™ is an ideal non-surgical cosmetic procedure as the gel flows easily into the skin, creating a smooth and natural look and feel. Juvederm™ works best for moderate wrinkles in the cheeks and moderately severe nasolabial folds (the deep folds running from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth). Juvederm™ is also great for defining and plumping the lips.

The injection process approximately 15 minutes, and the results are immediate. Recovery time is quick, and side effects are generally mild. There may be some temporary redness, discomfort, swelling or bumps, which will alleviate in a few days.
